Mr. Justin Anderson, CFA, is a Chief Technology Officer at Mawer Investment Management Ltd. He joined the firm in December 2014.
Previously, Mr. Anderson was an equity analyst on the Mawer Research team and founder of Mawer’s Research Lab which focuses on applying technology to improve on the investment process.
After founding the research company Xedge, specializing in stochastic analysis of oil and gas exploration portfolios, he joined Salman Partners and then Desjardins Capital Markets as a Research Analyst.

Mr. Anderson completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Calgary.
He then completed a Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering at MIT.
While at MIT, he founded and commercialized a high-tech company specializing in unfolding software and was an executive chair of the MIT Energy Club.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
