Michael has over 25 years of experience practicing law and consulting with businesses.
As General Counsel for PROOF, Michael oversees legal matters relating to compliance, existing funds, new fund formations, portfolio investments, and SPV closings.
Additionally, he works closely with our CFO on investor relations and reporting.
Prior to joining the PROOF team, Michael was an attorney with a local law firm and served as the General Counsel to Carson America, Inc., the principal campaign committee for Dr. Ben Carson’s bid for the Republican Presidential Nomination.
He is very familiar with the some of the PROOF team, as he assisted with the formation of a prior fund while an attorney with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP more than 20 years ago.
