Patrick Ponce

Mr. Ponce has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry and in private equity focusing on financial reporting and controls, tax structuring and transaction execution.
Prior to joining Hull Street Energy in 2021, Mr. Ponce was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Cibolo Energy Partners, a credit focused energy investment fund.
Previously, he was a Vice President with The Carlyle Group, where he focused on transaction structuring and execution as well as overall fund management primarily related to Carlyle's international energy funds.
Prior to that, he was a Vice President with Valerus Compression Services, LP, a TPG portfolio company, where he was instrumental in the completion of over $1 billion in transaction activity both within the U.S.
and internationally.
Mr. Ponce also served in a senior management role at Genesis Energy, LP, a large publicly traded master limited partnership, with a focus on the midstream segment of the energy value chain.
He began his career in public accounting and was most recently a Manager within the Transaction Advisory Services group of Ernst & Young where he focused on transaction due diligence and tax structuring.
Mr. Ponce earned a B.S.
in Accounting from Southern Methodist University; an M.S.
in Accounting and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
