Abrams, CFA MBA, is a Chief Executive Officer & Chief Compliance Officer at Bryden-Abrams Investment Management LLC and a Member at The New York Society of Security Analysts, Inc. From 1992 until 2006, Mr. Abrams served as Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer for Asset Allocation of Trust Company of the West.
He co-managed a multi-billion dollar global asset allocation strategy utilizing the full range of domestic and international equities and bonds.
Mr. Abrams also co-managed TCW's flaghsip U.S Equity fund from 1992 to 1996.
He was a member of all of the firm's major equity and fixed income committees, and also served on the various governance committees with responsibility for supervising each of the firm's major equity and fixed income products.
Prior to joining TCW, he was Managing Director, and Chief Investment Strategist of Kidder Peabody and Co., with responsibility for developing and communicating a comprehensive investment outlook for both institutional and individual clients in the U.S.
and abroad.
Before that, Mr. Abrams served for twenty years as a General partner, Chief investment Strategist, and Co-Manager of the International Department of Oppenheimer & Co. Mr. Abrams has an A.B. Magna Cum Laude from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
