Rockefeller & Co.’s taxable and tax-exempt fixed income strategies generally employ a conservative approach to US fixed income markets and emphasize capital preservation and current income. Portfolios are constructed utilizing both a top-down focus on macro trends and sector forecasts and a bottom-up focus on credit, relative valuation and volatility. Fixed income strategies are offered through Affiliated Mutual Funds and separately managed accounts. Rockefeller & Co. employs a formal multi-stage process for selecting third-party managers which quantitative and qualitative factors.

R&Co actively manages their portfolios with a goal of outperforming the indices, whatever the market conditions, and with a controlled level of risk. The firm’s investment strategy is based on three key principles that drive their investment decisions regarding allocation, sector and stock selection. L-R Global Partners focuses on investments in frontier markets. They seek to identify markets with exceptional growth potential and low correlation to major market indices. L-R Global's investment approach seeks to take advantage of pricing inefficiencies due to limited research coverage and liquidity. The firm leverages their local asset management companies, global partners and in-house research to provide unique investment opportunities across multiple asset classes in the form of local products and global strategies. They have created a multi-product, multiple asset class platform facilitating greater scalability in a historically non-scalable market.
