James River Group Holdings, Inc. is a holding company. The Company owns and operates a group of insurance companies with the objective of generating compelling returns on tangible equity while limiting underwriting and investment volatility. It operates in three segments: Excess and Surplus Lines, Specialty Admitted Insurance, and Corporate and Other segments. The Excess and Surplus Lines segment offers commercial excess and surplus lines liability and excess property insurance in every U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
