Jason Shipping ASA, formerly Camillo Eitzen & Co ASA, is a Norway-based holding company, which was formerly activitie within the chemical shipping segment. The Company does not conduct any operating activities. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned 34% shares of Eitzen Chemical ASA. Eitzen Chemical ASA is engaged in transportation of cargoes, such as organic chemicals, non-organic chemicals, clean and dirty petroleum products, vegetable oils and lube oils, and operates a total sailing fleet of 72 vessels. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's activities and investments were reported as part of discontinued operations. As of September 30, 2012, shares of Eitzen Chemical ASA were held for sale. As of December 31, 2011, 56.47% of the Company's shares were held by Eitzen Holding AS.
