KONDOTEC INC. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the industrial materials, structural steel materials, electrical installation materials and scaffolding work business. It operates through four business segments. Industrial Materials segment primarily engages in the hardware retail business, as well as the manufacturing, procurement and sales of civil engineering and construction materials, machinery and equipment. Structural Steel Materials segment manufactures, procures and sells construction-related materials to steel fabricators nationwide. Electrical Installation Materials segment procures and sells electrical installation materials to electrical contractors and home appliance retailers involved in the construction of houses, buildings, facilities and factories. Scaffolding Work segment provides scaffolding erection and dismantling services, as well as the procurement, sales and rental of temporary scaffolding equipment, to local builders and mid-sized general contractors.
