Watawala Plantations PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company. The principal activity of the Company is the sale of crude palm oil, palm kernel oil and palm kernel cake to bulk palm oil buyers in Sri Lanka and Dairy farming. The Companyâ€™s segments include Palm Oil, Dairy, and Other. Its Palm Oil segment includes palm oil cultivation and oil milling. Its Dairy segment includes dairy farming and milk production and sale. Its cinnamon product portfolio consists of cinnamon grades, cinnamon oil, and cinnamon cut quills. Its subsidiary, Watawala Dairy Ltd, manages a herd of approximately 1,600 dairy cattle (1000 adult cows and 600 heifers). The total cattle consist of approximately 800 are milking cows and 200 are dry cows. The farm produces over 18,000 liters of fresh milk per day and 540,000 liters per month.
