Mr. Robert J.
Fischer is President at The TD Fischer Group, Inc. and President & Chief Compliance Officer at Fischer Investment Group, Inc. He draws from his many years of business management experience in his present role as President of the firm.
He is also active in the community, having served on the boards of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Greater Rochester Visitor’s Association, The Boy Scouts of America Otetiana Council and Pittsford Little League.
He is also a former member of the New York State Superfund Management Board, NYS Superfund Work Group, New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation Board of Directors, and a former co-chair of the Monroe County Budget Advisory Team (2003).
He is a Commissioner on the Rochester-Genesee Regional Transit Authority, a member of the NYS Brownfields Advisory Board.
Prior to founding Fischer Investment Group in 1984, Mr. Fischer served as Senior Vice President of a family-owned independent insurance brokerage firm where he managed firm marketing and operational activities throughout 35 states.
He graduated from St. John Fisher College in 1985 with BS-Marketing Management.
